Meet DTU's new Talent Partners

DTU Industrial Partnerships’ new Talent Partnership has gotten a strong foundation with six new and ambitious partners.

The engineers of the future are in high demand. Our new Talent Partnership is a testament to that. That is why we have already welcomed six new collaboration partners in 2021, who all strive to recruit DTU’s promising talents. The six new partners are; EPOS, BEC, IT and Development Agency of the Danish Ministry of Taxation, BCG with their digital entities BCG Platinion and BCG Gamma, Ernst & Young (EY) and KPMG Danmark.

Marit Klos, BCG Platinion

Why did you become a Talent Partner?

We, at Boston Consulting Group, would like to show how valuable a technical background is to us and what’s in it for students and graduates. The world of consulting and our clients’ industries are highly diverse - hence, we require talents and experts of all fields to deliver the best results possible. At BCG, we are excited to meet the ambitious talents of DTU, who strive to create impact and work with a team of bright minds, achieving the goals of the Nordic’s largest companies!

Which DTU expertise are you looking for?

Our diverse projects require true experts. Any study field can be a great asset for our team of management consultants. Beyond that, we offer to specialize in digital projects as IT Consultants or IT Architects at BCG Platinion, or build business performance transforming solutions as Data Scientists at BCG Gamma. Julie Siegemund, EPOS

Why did you become a Talent Partner?

At EPOS we are always on the lookout for new bright minds that have the skills and courage to think big and push the bar of what is possible within premium audio engineering. With the DTU Partnership we are hoping to connect with DTU talent, engage in mutual beneficial engineering projects, and to share what makes EPOS a great and exciting place to work.

Which DTU expertise are you looking for?

We are always looking for bright and ambitious talent within software and hardware engineering, including but not limited to, acoustical engineers, embedded software engineers, high level software designers, SW architects, mechanical engineers, DSP engineers etc. Please keep an eye out for our open vacancies on eposaudio.com/careers.

Anouska Wage, KPMG

Why did you become a Talent Partner?

We entered this partnership to meet the talented students at DTU. We have many career opportunities within technology consulting, and we realized that many DTU students are not aware of the work that we do or that they could start their career as a graduate at KPMG. In addition, we would like to share our expertise and show students how to apply their studies in their future career. As consultants, we work with a number of different technologies and services, providing assistance with data collection, business intelligence, analysis and implementation of new systems, assistance with IT outsourcing, cyber security and more. DTU students, graduates and alumni are equipped with an analytical mindset and deep technical knowledge, both of which are necessary when coming up with innovative solutions.

Which DTU expertise are you looking for?

We are very interested in students with a background in IT security, data analytics, computer science, management engineering, machine learning, AI and robotics. There are many things that they will learn on the job, so we are looking for students with an appetite to learn, a desire to build a consulting career and an interest in applying their knowledge and skills to create value for our clients.

Søren Kristensen, BEC

Why did you become a Talent Partner?

At BEC, we would like to expand the knowledge of who we are, how we contribute to the society and why BEC is an exciting work place for young talents. The DTU Talent Partnership is an obvious choice for us, because we know that DTU has high professional competency and often a problem-solving, innovative and detail-oriented approach to technical challenges. We have already experienced a great will to explore the areas in which both of our interests overlap. Among others, DTU can support us in discovering the many different professional competences which could contribute positively to BEC.

Which DTU expertise are you looking for?

The demands vary highly according to the subject area and function. For our Talent Programme for graduates, we are especially interested in graduate students within IT, mathematics, data science, business and economics. We have also had great experience with hiring chemical engineers, electrical engineers and physicists with an interest in IT. Talented IT-developers at BEC have often started out with preliminary coding experience, high learning ability and an interest in FinTech. From then on, their journey into big parts of Denmark’s financial IT-infrastructure begins.
